Zóna nadšenia (The Zone of Enthusiasm, 2012, 2nd edition) – published in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria and the first Slovak novel ever published in India. The author made a lecture tour about it at universities in India and other fifteen European countries. The German edition (Jubelzone, 2010) reached the finals of the literary award “Johann Gottfried Seume”.

More than 200 commentaries on social and political issues in Slovak and foreign press. Jozef Banáš acts as columnist for the TV channel TV Bratislava, the internet magazine Feminity and HN Online (online version of the leading Slovak business newspaper Hospodárske noviny). 
He is member of the Union of Slovak writers established in 1936
